This is a great tablecloth! It absolutely resists water, as advertised. Milk and stew spilled on it blot right off, leaving no stain at all. It was time consuming to iron, and I haven't washed it yet, but I would buy this tablecloth again. Note; I purchased the taupe color, it appears much more gold in person, but will do very nicely for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any other time of year or holiday.

This tablecloth is exactly as advertised. Looks just like the picture, and is nice and spill proof. Water beads up on it so you have a little time to capture spills. It's not plastic, so liquids will eventually soak in, but it's great. Of course, this makes things like ironing it a bit more difficult. After getting it out of the package, it had some solid wrinkles from the folding job. Even after washing it, those wrinkles didn't budge. Ironing was a little tough since water doesn't penetrate as easily, but eventually they all came out. And now it looks great! So if you're OCD about wrinkles like i am, just be prepared to work at the iron for a little bit. otherwise though, it's a great deal.

I was very disappointed when I received this in the mail. I ordered the green tablecloth. On arrival, it looked like a cheaper looking fabric. It was also incredibly wrinkly. I washed it immediately. As soon as I pulled it out from the wash on a gentle cycle, the hem had come completely apart. It still had a ton of wrinkles. There were stray strings hanging off of it.
I'm returning it but I'm not looking forward to it because this product doesn't offer free shipping on returns. Now I'm going to have to pay for the shipping :( I wouldn't risk it for this product. You'd find better luck at Ross or Target.
