If I wanted the Fabrege Egg equivalent of a guitar ornament I'd save up and commission one. Given the price, how cool they look and feel, that they include a blue bass (for me), and that they made the boy's day, I'd say they are perfect. I actually thought they were hand-painted, hand-cut and sanded wood until I read another review stating they are resin. I couldn't tell and I don't care. That they made a kid happy and look good on his tree is all that matters to me. They do feel substantial and I assume they will last many years.

These ornaments are great for any guitar lover. Made well and was a huge hit with my future husband. They aren't as delicate as they appear as they are made quite well but take caution in packing if you want to use them for years to come. They are worth every penny.

As a guitar player and an avid Christmas celebrator (don't get me started on the whole Christmas village set up), I wanted to get these to cover my tree. I ordered two sets (it's a small tree). They came well protected and in record time. The products are well made and very realistic looking. I actually have a real one of all the of the guitars in this collection (the bass included!). In fact - my Gibson Explorer is exactly like this - colors and all. The attention to detail is great. These will be my favorite ornaments for a very very long time. Now I'm just waiting for miniature effects racks with compressor-limiters and then the Marshall pre-amps, little tattooed roadies in elf costumes (smoking a cig and laying down cables)....it will be a great Christmas!
