Just got the STRION today. Love it! The perfect work tool.
I added a black shrink wrap sleeve to save my teeth, for those occational moments when I need both hands to work on something. I've been using the Scorpion untill now. I have 2 of them. Love em, but the battery replacement is OFTEN and EXPENSIVE. They are the back ups now. The Strion is just about the same size and light weight. I fly around the world and don't need a bigger flash light taking up space in my work box. The constant on switch is a twist, but you can still do it with one hand. So I dont mind it.
What can I say, its RECHARGABLE! It came with Both AC and DC cables and one spring loaded cradle. The cradle is an excellent design.
I choose the Super Saver shipping and it still got here in just 4 days.

The light isn't as comfortable as a Surefire light but the recharge saves me a lot of money. Its very bright for its size and easy to carry. I've had several good comments from co-workers and bystanders on this little light.

So I had the oppourtunity to use another persons Strion and likes it so much I decided I needed one. For my personal use I prefer the incandesant version instead of the LED but am considering buying the LED version anyways. Here is the review though: so if you want a flashlight that in general is sturdy and will stand up to a lot of constant abuse all while being rechargable this is it. First off you can tell that Streamlight knows that this flashlight may serve a number of uses so overall it is built to be a flashlight that could be used by a police officer or it could just be used by some person who wants a good well made flashlight. None the less these things are not necessarily water proof but I have heard of them being dropped into water before (like a pool) and working also they can eaisly take a drop of probably 5-10 ft. with no problem the only issue you might have is breaking the bulb inside (this has not happend to me though). Speaking of the bulb understand that this is a high intensity bulb so if you buy the incandesant model the glass lens will get hot. Not so hot that it will really hurt you but it can get warm usually after extended use. It is rechargeable which is a big advantage over other flashlights that are not rechargeable it is seriously a great thing to have as some other Streamlight flashlights and Surefire (main competetor of Streamlight) use batterys that you typically have to order (they are not like AA,AAA,D,C or 9V) and are not a normal battery that you can get in like a twpical store. Anyways why would you want to buy even normal batterys when all you have to do with this thing is put it into the charger (usually overnight) and in a few hours (if you need it sooner than all night its usually ready) you have a fully charged flash light. When the battery is starting to not hold a charge you can get a replacement one I think for around $20-$25 which is not that bad. On a full charge you are looking at about 70 minutes of runtime. In general a good flash light no cons to really think of actually.
